Advanced Technology
We utilize state-of-the-art arctic hydrovac units manufactured by Tornado Global Hydrovacs, out of Alberta, Canada. Each truck is equipped with powerful vacuum and water systems to perform non-destructive excavation with precision and care. The vacuum pump can pull a mind-boggling 27” of mercury. That’s enough suction to levitate boulders right up off the ground. The pulsing cutter jet can reach temps of 300º and a downright scary pressure of 4,000 psi. Operators say that using this equipment feels like wielding a lightsaber in one hand, and a black hole in the other. Messes literally vaporize! The 12 yard debris tank is the largest in class. All hydraulics are fully enclosed in the insulated work box. Crucially, the cyclone air cleaner is housed INSIDE the supply water tank, which protects it from freezing. The Top-Gun telescoping boom has a 30’ reach, and 360º of articulation. Twelve wheel-drive, with fully-locking differentials keep the truck from getting stuck. A gargantuan 15 liter Cummins diesel engine powers it all.
Environmental Stewardship
We are great at minimizing environmental impact. Spills can be vacuumed right up, and quickly hauled off to proper waste disposal sites. The ground around our dig sites remain totally undisturbed, all but eliminating storm water and erosion concerns.
